Owner left a Duracraft air heater in home, model CZ 600. I am not familiar with it, and need instructions on how to use it. Does it require water, or can I just plug it in?

Just plug it in. Water is not what is inside of unit, Oil is inside. Put the dial at the amount of heat that you are wanting to come out. Very simple poroduct to use. I have owned my unit for over 10 years now.

My Duracraft CZ 308 heater keeps running. I have the thermostat set at 60 degrees but it doesn't stop running. It gets very warm in my trailer

You need to stop using the heater, , the thermostat is bad and there is a risk of a fire, and no repair parts. Replacement heaters range $20-40.. Personally I would look at a different brand.

Cascade water heater disconnected by previous owner (uncontactable). Inlet water pipe to heater has a Y connecter. Not sure which to connect cold feed to. Help please! Have photo if required.

On my water heater, I have two feed, one at the bottom side for cold water and one at the top for both the safety valve and hot water. Do some search on internet to look At your model schematic and instruction.

Does my furnace require outside air?

I'm surprised the building inspector allowed the condensing furnace you described draw combustion air from the garage !! I'm not familiar with any manufacturer that recommends that as normal practice. Virtuall ALL two pipe condensing furnaces require both pvc pipes to be terminated OUTSIDE the structure with specific heights and distances apart. There is also a limit to the length of both the flu and the combustion air piping and each 90 degree pvc elbow adds the resistance equivalant of roughly 10' of straight pipe. If re-routing is required, you have to bear in mind the direction of 'fall' in the piping usually goes back towards the furnace and remember two 45's may give you a greater variance of change in the piping and still be equal to the equivalant of one 90.

Personally, I would never suggest terminating the fresh air (combustion air) intake between floors of a structure.

The electric cord on our Duracraft heater model CZ-600 was very hot to the touch (closest to the plug) -- it burned so hot we could not touch it for more than a second. The heat was at maximum and we...

Look carefully at the plug's connectors to see if thewre is any scorching or otherwise burnt metal...electrical connectors tend to get hot due to the plug being loose(this causes more resistance and thus more heating). As a safe bet...the parts aren't expensive...I would replace both the power cord on the heater AND the outlet recepticle

Both togggle switches are broken

Go to the hardware store and match them up, they have toggle switch. Get the heavy duty 20 amp switch.
