Could not find exact, but close manual.  It is the MRP-M450 mono block amp from alpine.

Go to this url and view in Adobe. Print it if you need to

SOURCE: alpine mrd m500 amp is not pushing my 12 in infinity sub

If you have a dual voice coil sub, make sure that you have the positive and negative terminals connected properly. If you have ONE of the coils wired backwards, it will cause the speaker to produce little or no sound.

Have you set the gains properly?

Are you sure the amplifier is receiving a strong signal from the head unit?

Have you tried it with a different speaker?

SOURCE: Alpine MRD-M1005 Subwoofer Amp Problem

He may be right! You might try finding a new source of contact for your ground cause it may not be sufficent enough to ground to, also make sure that no wires from the back of your radio have any wires sticking out touching other interfering things that could possibly be causing the noise

the subs cant handle all the power you got it set on turn off all the settings and then turn off your car and remove your face plate and then it should be ok. it does that because the subs cant handle the settings you might just have them a lil high

How to unlock my alpine mono power amplifier mrd m500?

Hi. If you shorted (touched) the speaker wires together, or let them touch the chassis of the car, then it may have locked out. Just turning the amp off and back on will fix this, so it sounds like you have done damage to it. Most amps have a speaker relay which gives a click sound when you turn on. If there is no click, then it may have a power supply failure.

Try switching the lowpass filter down to 80hz or lower, then adjust the bass boost to your liking.

Alpine mrd-m501 amp

Disconnect the speaker wires from the amp, then try it again. If the error message doesn't appear, try connecting the speaker wires back to the amp one by one.

The error message is due to some sort of overcurrent in the amp. If the error does not go away when the speaker wires are disconnected, the issue is most likely with the amp itself and will need professional repair.

Alpine mrd-m501 mono power amplifier

OK, It looks like you may have an internal problem. I must say from the begining if you do not have a background in electronics take the unit to a qualified service center. Now it sounds like you could have a power supply problem if you have power coming in onpen the unit and with the use of a schematic find the main voltage rail and test from there each test point and make sure it matches the schematic value. Look for burnt circuit tarces nad if you find the remove them and jumper with re-trace wire.

Error codes

One of the parts went bad, and you need to take it into the dealer. The way Alpine's error codes work are very vague. E-3 could mean the psu fried, a resistor went bad etc.
