Epson Stylus CX5800f "Printer error ->. See your documentation and call service if necessary." Can't make it go away, reset or anything...please help!

Do you have any other indicators such as flashing lights or similar?

My guess is that it MIGHT be a "service required" error meaning the waste pads are full in which case this guide may help..

There's a reset sequence you can follow near the end of the article which I'd try... If that solves it then you'll need to deal with the waste pads.. If not, you'll know it's something else and can report back..

Try unplugging cable for ten minutes, did you reinstall drivers already?

This means see the document you are printing or install it again

this means your printer waste pads are full and the printer needs to be reset for it to work again or it can just be reset

Sounds like the ink counters need resetting (it happens with other printers as well)

3) Toggle the transportation lock five times, ensuring that it is in the unlocked position, towards the back of the scanner.
