Rca p52960 wont turn on

As soon as you plug the tv in there is a humming noise coming from the tv and it wont turn on. I have had to fix a solder connection on the flyback before but that was a different problem. Do you have any idea of what is happing now. Thanks

My RCA projection tv makes a loud buzzing, humming noise. Does as soon as turned on even before picture comes on, does not stop till tv is turned off.

buzzing noise is cause by small electrical arc inside the unit or a problem in your audio circuit.if you can open the unit up and check if its an electrical arc.

Tv wont turn on p52960

Still sounds like the flyback. Rca has had issues throught the years with flybacks failing especially that model.

Keeps turningoff

I just posted a link for the manual. I would think that it may be solder related. RCA has some issues with their solder especially around the flyback and tuner sections.
