I start my PC monitor display after 10 to 15 minutes, I have tested with another monitor its start immediately, what is the reason with my sync Master540n Samsung monitor

you have to open the back cover of your monitor have a visual check on the capacitors at the power board.replace any bulging capacitors on it and resolder the board..good luck!

Hello, The problem might be that the signal cable at the back was not properly inserted, i mean the cable with the blue color and has 15 pins. Make sure it is properly inserted to your monitor as well as the other end to your Desktop. If this continues,Bring another LCD monitor, a good one and connect it to your system, to see what happens. If it works fine then the former monitor is faulty, if not your system has the problem. Regards

Try it with another PC and also check the VGA cable, if it still does not work, you will have to ope it up and do in-depth troublshooting.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). It has dying power supply due to bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, that will be the first place to look.

Cant detect 1600 x 900 on control panel - display - settings. screen keeps going black and message says not optimum mode, recommend mode 1600x900. bought new monitor yesterday. samsung sync master 2033

You need to install the driver for your samsung sync master 2033, so the the graphics will improve or updated.

Change the display resolution from 1024x768 to1024X1280

go to control panel > dosplay settings > click on the settings tab > click on the advanced button > c.ick on Monitor and tick the box that states "Hide Modes that this monitor cannot display > click the adapter tab > click on button "List all modes" This will list every resolution your monitor is capable of displaying.

it may simply be a lose connection with the monitor cord. or the monitor cord may to be replaced.

Kalyanaramud, Not problem... only poor quality factory soldering of internal electronic components to circuit boards!!!!! 6000 to 10000 "on" / "off" cycles should not cause this problem!!! Inspect the units "switch-mode-power-supply / inverter board for the 1 and 1 only bad solder joint, resolder it and unit should function properly. Let me know what you find when you do inspection of unit. Document work with digital pic's of every step. Notify brand name of filter capacitors inside unit on SMPS / inverter board. 12fixlouie
