you could try to reformat it
Try pushing the reset button on the bottom, next to the USB socket, then try switching on again.
If this doesn't work, then you may have corrupt firmware. Try a factory restore, as follows:
Open Philips Device Manager.
Whilst pressing and holding the [VOL+] button on the player, connect to the PC.
Continue to hold [VOL+] until told to release, then follow the on-screen prompts.
This will format the player and re-load the firmware.
NOTE: ALL FILES WILL BE DELETED FROM THE PLAYER.

I used the repair mode but it only reformatted my player and didn't reload the files again. What can I do?
