The blower motor driver transistor or relay is shorted out. It's in the blower control module. You can test it with a meter by disconnecting the battery, then measuring the resistance from the fuse terminal to the blower. If it is a continuous circuit (much less than 1 Ohm), the controller needs to be repaired or replaced. Replacing the part should be relatively cheap for someone who has the skill to identify, remove and solder the replacement for the failed part (power transistors and relays in this size class should not cost more than $10).
The caveat is that GM often uses custom-marked components. You would have to find an automotive-rated equivalent transistor or relay rated for at least the current through the fuse and at least 60 Volts, and you would have to correctly identify the transistor type (probably a MOSFET). The hard part is removing and replacing the blower controller. It may be easier to get another controller from a salvage yard than to repair. If need be, you can exchange trim panels so you can keep the original.
It would be worth checking if there is a relay in the system as this may have failed in the on position. I would also check the blower switch as this may have failed on.

it will be hard to diagnose with out having my hands on it but try this.
this vehicle is known for blower motor resistor failure.
under the dash on the passenger side next to the blower motor there is a resistor attatched to the blower motor case it will have a single plug with 5 or 6 wires in it, they are normally within a couple of inches of the blower motor, remove this resistor and look at closely for any signs of burning this is a common problem, you can buy one at any parts house, do not operate the motor with the resistor removed from its mounting hole or you will damage it.

blown transformers are usually from a low voltage short the first thing i would do is wire a automotive or resetable 3amp fuse in line with the transformer so you dont blow transformer after transformer the wire coming off the transformer that say 24v take that wire a couple of inches down and cut it and install the fuse in series there

now you can go through your low voltage wires one by one and test them unhook all the wires to your outdoor condenser at your indoor unit(furnace or airhandler) and try turning it to cool now if you blow the fuse the short is between the tstat and the indoor unit if the fuse is still good leave it on cool and hook up one wire at a time to your outdoor unit starting with R a lot of times your contactor or your defrost board will short out on you also look for pinches in wires wires with cracks in the insulation and wires touching metal this situation can be a real pain sometimes i would recommend calling a hvac company if you start to get stumped

traction switch is located next to drivers left knee on bottom of dash....you should be able to turn off the traction light there by just turning on the traction control.....the security light is telling you that there is a problem with your security system....could just need a new key with a new computer chip....make sure the key is clean and dry when using so it can read the chip....the security light comes on whenever your start the car and stays on for approximatley 2 minutes and then should go out....it is just a reminder....try this and see if it works....lock the door using the power switch on door.....close door and see if the security light comes on....watch and it should go out after about 2 minutes...if it does then your alarm is activated and working....to disarm you need to unlock the driver door with the key...anything else will set the alarm off and the lights will start flashing and the horn honking...after you set the alarm off you will always have to use the key to unlock the drivers door to turn off the alarm and reset the security system.

That is a BSC, or blower speed controller. This is a very common concern, in most cases if you simply wiggle the harness the controller will start to work.
This should be located on the a/c case under the hood below the heater hoses.
