Car stereo code input protocol for blaupunkt 520 car audio system

- WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR RADIO CODE, TRY THIS: I JUST TRIED THIS ON MY 520 IN A HOLDEN VECTRA (1999) AND IT WORKS:
- HOLD DOWN THE 'AS' BUTTON UNTIL YOU HEAR A BEEP, THEN YOU GET THE FOLLOWING DISPLAY:
10 - - - -
- PRESS BUTTON NUMBER 1 UNTIL YOU GET THE FIRST DIGIT IN YOUR CODE
- PRESS BUTTON NUMBER 2 UNTIL YOU GET THE SECOND DIGIT IN YOUR CODE
- PRESS BUTTON NUMBER 3 UNTIL YOU GET THE THIRD DIGIT IN YOUR CODE
- PRESS BUTTON NUMBER 4 UNTIL YOU GET THE FOURTH DIGIT IN YOUR CODE
- HOLD DOWN THE 'AS' BUTTON UNTIL THE STEREO TURNS ON.

Vectra 1999,
wot u have to do is........
turn on the ignition turn the radio off, press down "AS" and hold and then turn on the radio! and it will come up the usual 7 SAFE
then keep "AS" pressed for another 2-3 seconds then let go. Then you have to LEAVE!!! key in ignition its ok to drive while doing this because i did but dont turn ignition off or take the key out or ull have to do it agen! i got told that it takes around 1hour to reset itself but myn took around10minutes, once it has reset the code option will appear.
DO NOT type in 1234 as that is not the code. Every radio etc has there own code so who ever braught the car brand new must have the codes, i found the codes on the back of my service booklet where the man i braught it from must have wrote them down to remember.
the reason its staying on 7 SAFE is because you have locked the radio because you have had more than 3 attempts so wot i have just told you to do that will unlock it but you must have the right number!
iive gvot a problem where i have unlocked my radio but now the cd player is saying SAFE when i try to use it so if any1 knows wot to do please tell me.

What is 7 safe

Turn ignition off then on hold as button dwn till beep sound let go then press number 1 twice ,number 2 twice ,number 3 twice then 4 twice it should now say 1111 ,hold dwn as button again til beep sound it will say testmode you can do this as many times as needed but radio will cut out after a few minutes and then u will have to repeat process, i dont hve the unlock code for my astra but found this wrks until u get one hope this helps ,if anyone knows who you ring maybe holden please leave input
