I have a Dell Inpiron 100 laptop & it seems to have a virus, even though I have avast, anti maleware bytes, etc. & I run the other cleaners to try & keep it from getting a virus. But now I cant move the touch screen pointer where I want it to go. It seems to have a virus that I thought avast would have found. I was able to run the virus scan but that didnt' work. plz help. thx.

Unless your tablet is running Windows then the necessity for any type of anti-virus or cleaner is pretty much obsolete. The reason your tablet keeps freezing is because Avast is using a lot of your resources. I recommend un-installing Avast cleaner as it is only causing more issues than it is helping. By default, Android-based tablets RARELY get ANY kind of virus. I work on phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, etc... and to this day, I have seen only one virus on an android tablet. And even the virus couldn't launch enough to infect the system.

Its important to not do anything that the so called "Security Tool" tells you to do,i.e send personal information or buy a program that claims to fix the problem,most of these viruses try to sell you an anti-virus/malware program !
1. Before you reinstall your OS, you should install any Anti-virus program (AntiVir,AVG,Avast are free) to your Laptop. Update it and do a virus scan and remove those nasty viruses.
2. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware free edition install both and update and do a scan to get rid of those nasty malware & Adware.
3. Download the sytem utilities CCleaner(free) install and clean up the unnessary file, then run the registry cleaner to clean the OS registry. Another free registry cleaner you can use is Eusing Free. There are many free programs out there but try the ones I mention.
first disable your anti virus. You have a virus most likey so go to maleware bytes web site and download the latest free maleware removeal tool then do a disk clean up and do a disk defrag boot into safe mode and run a scan on your computer, if you have opened any e-mails attachments in the last two months there have been some nasty bugs going around, after running a scan in safe mode with maleware bytes get rid of any bugs you may find. then do a disk cleanup again and defrag in safe mode. once you have done this if the computer is acting ok then do a restore point at this time and restart the computer. I had got a couple of bugs a month or so ago and had the same thing happen and there was a new virus listed that was not detected bu other software than this brand. I hope this helps if not just post back here for more help on this issue. I am assuming your cpu fan is working normally and has been cleaned with compressed air.
Sounds to me, you might be infected. Be sure and Back-up everything, before you can't do anything. Here is some good information for you.

Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Restart computer, then run Spybot to see what spyware comes up.

There are alot of $ anti-virus and Internet security programs out there, ie: Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender. If you would like to pay $ then get Kaspersky-- 2009-2010 , I feel that is the best for your money.

I need to know which one it is in order to help you. You will have to remove the spy ware from your registry using registry editor. If you want more help on this let me know, you can also download Maleware anti virus to remove many bugs that other systems can't remove.
