Our S-Master 5.1 ch full digital amplifier accepted DVD but would not play it because it said there was no disc. We had to take it appart to get the DVD out & now there is a springy pin in the way that will not allow us to put a DVD in the slot. Please help us. We are on a camping trip in our motor home and need it to work. If it cannot be fixed where do we buy another one because our surround sound is hooked up to it & this is in a specific cabinate next to TV. Our Model # is DAV-C770. Thank you for your help.

Most disc read errors are caused by dust or dirt on the lens of the DVD player. You should follow the cleaning instructions. Or watch a YouTube video on cleaning DVD lenses.
I feel for you because I also have the same unit and have been frustrated in the past when I tried different dvd's to play. The conclusion that I have come to is that I only use my cyberhome player to play rented dvd's
Switch player on and make sure there is no disc in the tray. CLose tray and press menu,1,9.
A menu should appear with the region option at about the third line from the bottom. Press enter and enter the region you want("0" for free zone) . Next press open/close.
Reset you player by doing the following:
With the player on, hooked properly to your television, and on the correct station:
Open the tray
Close the tray (with no DVD inserted)
Hold the stop button down for a full 5 seconds
The CyberHome screen should appear. You should be able to play your dvd's now.
