As long as both receivers have that "unifying" logo you should be able to use that.

Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start
flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT
button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the
receiver.
If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button
on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they
should work okay.

Are your batteries in the Keyboard and mouse good?
You probably have gotten it working by now but here is a way to get it work if
not.
Press the Receiver button a(and the lights will start flashing, then if its the
Keyboard that isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back
of the board to connect.
If its the MOUSE do the same except push the small RESET?CONNECT button on the
back of the mouse to connect. Then they should work properly. Hope

and you might need to do a uninstall reinstall
if it worked on same pc before it should work now.
if you have a reset button on transmitter try resetting it.

Yes, I have a solution. Throw the bugger away! This has been the biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought. It has loads of unecessary features like using the buttons for other things. I am sick of it asking me if I want to assign an action to a key. I want a bog standard wireless keyboard. Yes, I'll assign an action alright. I'll throw it through the bloody window!!!!!!
