I have a Sony DAV-DZ120 HOme Theater system, i just got Dish Network Installed and cannot find the code for the dish network remote to run my system, just trying to use one remote for everything rather than one for the home theater and one for the satelite and tv

mine does, I don't even have dish anymore and I still use that remote for all my goodies , if you can't get it to work, use the generic code listed in the back of the book, or the quick find method in the book

Instructions for addressing your remote to your Home Theater System

1. Press and hold the desired mode button until all mode button back lights come on, then release.
2. Use the number buttons to enter the device code corresponding to the equipment.
3. Press the POUND (#) button.
   
   If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
4. Test the functionality.

Press and hold the AUX mode button until all mode buttons at the top of theremote come on, then release. Enter the number 2 then one of the codesfor your RCA home theater system provided above. Press the pound (#) button, the modelight should flash three times. Checkthat the code works by trying several different functions on the remote to makesure it will properly operate your RCA home theater system. Keep in mind that some codesmay not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, please try theother codes listed for that device until you find one that is compatible withyour equipment.

Hello rcbriggs, my name is Michael Hurst with DISH Network. We would have remote codes for you home theater system but it would depend on the model of the DISH remote that you have to give you the right one. What model DISH receiver/remote do you have? You can also try a Power Scan to get the volume to work with your DISH remote. Here are the steps for a Power Scan: With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release. Press and release the Power button. AUX Mode: Before pressing and releasing the Power button. Press 0 for a TV, Press 1 for a VCR/DVD and Press 2 for any other device. Then Press STAR (*). Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off. Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

Sorry but tried all the codes above in Bell remote. Non of them work the fx900w.

I run my s video from the dish reciever to the tv/satillite s video input and the digital audio to the digital audio input on my reciever. The reciever is a sony V333ES and have no problems at all.

Refer to page 82 in your Dish Network User's Guide......(Make sure Sony system is powered on and in DVD mode with a disc in the player).  Point Dish remote at Sony box -  Hold Aux until all buttons light up at top....press 2 - then STAR button* and then POWER button - then press the up arrow key repeatedly until Sony turns off - press # key to lock in code.
It took me awhile to get it to work....it will only work power, mute, and volume - not dvd play functions. Refer to page 85 to make the Dish remote control the Sony box volume by default.

The code for the 6.3 ir/uhf pro remote when set to uhf is 794. Fist hold down aux until all lights blink then press 2 then enter 794 and press #.
