The aussies have a full mandatory disclosure system

Go intp downloads page and you will find your Driver there to download for FREE

(possibly BJV1397) or similar download

Here is a link to Canon's support page for this printer. Did not see any user guide available, but the driver can be downloaded and put on a CD.

BJC-240 Support

Go to www.usa.canon.com, On the site, left click on SUPPORT, then left click on DRIVERS AND DOWNLOADS in the box on the left side.. You can then find your products drivers and download them for free.

Go to

and try the XP driver. If this doesn't work, you may not be able to interface this printer to Vista.

Canon Web Site for Printers.
Check the Vista internal list.
Go to Printers/Faxes
Click on Install Printer
When you get select from CD or list take 'List'
Go  to Canon
Select the Model
Click OK
Job Done

The blinking orange light could mean one or more of the following: -Home position error -Waste ink full error -Temperature sensor error -Printing position correction error -Cleaning error -Printer memory error I would probably clean the waste ink tank first. Make sure you unplug it first. Take the cartridge out and clean real good at the bottom.
