Adjust the television controls, following advice in the manual. Incorrectly set controls can cause problems like sound but no picture and picture but no sound.

Improper input signals/cables can also cause this problem.

Try unplugging the TV from the mains. Also undo all cabling from the TV. Wait about 10 minutes, then holding the power button on, plug in the TV to the mains. Next, replug all cables and se if the TV works.

Should you still have an error, it could be a problem with the internal circuitry, for which it is best to get a professional to take a look. Or if its under warranty, best call the manufacturer or the point of purchase.

    Hope that helps..

Does the dvd have picture when playing or no picture no matter what?

You can try switching cables.

Do you know if the screen is on?

ok, so then the problem would lie on your input from your cable, dish, or antenna.

Try a different cable for that input which is not running through the dvd player correct?

Otherwise if a different cable doesn't work, then you may have a loose connection inside which then I would open up the tv and follow the input to the board and see if anything is broken or burnt.

Let me know what you find. thanks

I have a loud buzzing noise on my Toshiba DLP 46" projection TV. It is not the fan, it works fine. In fact the TV works great and has a good picture. The buzzing used to go away after awhile. Now it...

In some cases the buzz is external. The vibration of the unit may just cause a tray, flat surface, or other surrounding attachments to rattle and buzz. Look for anything that may be loose or laying on or about the TV.

My Samsung TV picture is supplied via a HDMI lead

yes you need to connect audio out from the tv to audio in on the dvd surround. you need the red/white phono to phono leads, simply connect together and select audio (av,au) on the input selection.

Rainbow color effect appears when Samsung LCD plays Wii or DVD

Hello, I have a question which video inputs are you using for your DVD and Wii connections? The reason I ask is because this sounds like video distortion cuased by noise. If possible can you send a picture of the screen when it has this problem and send which video ports are being used? If it is noise in the video you may have a saw filter problem, or a decoupling issue. In any event I'll know more once you send those pictures and which inputs you are using for your DVD and Wii.
