Go to: http://www.futura-support.com/ Click on Service update in the left hand menu, wait for the new menu to open and click on CE 100. Read carefully all the information. Download the detailed instructions and study it and then download the patch for Vista. Sound difficult but it is not.

Yeah, you can buy the spiral bound manual from Singer online or download it free from www.futura-support.com in pdf format . I have the same machine.

Do you still have the embroidery arm attached? If you do, the sewing function of the machine won't work.
