My Frigidaire refrigerator water dispenser leaks water inside the door, the water runs down the front of the door from the bottom of the front panel. How do I remove the panel to repair or replace the line? I have been all over the web and cannot find a breakdown of this repair. Thank you J. Lindsey

My front dispenser panel started leaking water today, not much but just enough to get the floor wet. Is there a do it yourself fix?

Lift up & out on the drip tray (it will come out) after removing it you will see 3 screw. unscrew the screws & lift the face plate of the despenser & it will come off. Be careful though. There is a ribbon wire connected to the back of the face plate. make sure to dissconect the ribbon wire from the control board not the back of the face plate (its alot harder to reconnect to the face plate & pretty simle to reconnect to the control board).

That was great. Our water hose got pushed up behind the dispenser. Had to take out all 6 screws eventually but fixed the problem.

I found that I have the same problem this morning. Has anyone found out how to correct it or did you have to call for service? Did they fix it?

How to remove faceplate from water dispenser on Frigidaire FFHS2622MS? I've got dispenser water leak. Already removed single screw at bottom under drip catch but faceplate still won't budge. Help?

If you are having water leaking it is the solenoid valve and that valve is not in the door. It is in the back of the refrigerator near the bottom, it maybe behind a cover. The only thing that goes to the door dispenser is the hose

Freezer & Refrig does not get cold

without a model number to check out what else might be in that area of the door i'd say a piece of tubing from the water source is leaking, or you are getting ice melt from inside somehow making it out through that panel now. i believe the water for the door comes in through the bottom of the freezer door and works its way up to the dispenser area, the solenoid for the water inlet is behind the fridge near the bottom (you'll see the water tubing).
more likely somethings just not fitted or aligned properly and waters making it out someplace it shouldn't.
best of luck to ya

Water is leaking from the bottom in the front left side of side by side maytag. water line is ok not leaking. can't see where it is coming from.

the water for the dispenser (ice/water dispenser in the freezer door) comes from under the frige then up thru the bottom hinge of the freezer door .. it then goes inside the door up to the dispenser .. its a plastic hose and it has to twist near the hinge each time the door is opened .. thats where it usually breaks or develops a pin hole leak .. you can replace the whole hose or just the damaged section if that easier ... since the bottom freezer.hinge where that hose comes up thru, is at the position of your leak then i suspect thats your trouble ... ..also check the condensate pan to make sure its not full .. thats a flat pan under the fridge ..you can usually get acess to it by removing the front kick panel at the bottom of the frige .. if thats full then look for a door seal leak (damaged rubber seal) ... a broken seal or open door will allow moisture to condense inside the machine ..that runs down into the condensate pan where it normally evaporates .. but a problem (like open door) will fill it up to overflow in time ....

Water leaking from inside door

the water line for the water disp runs in a chase that goes up thru the bottom hinge of the refrig door. SO DONT PULL YOUR DOOR APART! you can order a new water line thru frigidaire and replace the part by removing the water dispenser housing on the door and pulling the line thru the door then inst the new line in reverse. if it looks like too big a job then get a reputable company to inst it for you.

Leak running down front

Take the recess cup out and seal the area around it right where the front stainless steel panel meets the recess (right at the front of the recess) with clear silicone to prevent water from getting inside the door, then running out of the plastic frame area around the dispenser and running down the freezer door or out the bottom of the door. After the silicone has set, replace drip cup.

Water leaking underneath refrigerator/water freezing in bottom of freezer

I'm dealing with the same problem right now with the same refrigerator. The cold water tank (for the front dispenser) has a hole in it that leaks every time someone dispenses water from the front door. You will find the water tank behind the top slide-out drawer in the fridge. The leaked water flows down one of the water tubes through a hole in the bottom of the fridge and onto the floor. I'll bet you have the same problem. Good Luck.
