The message said "card locked" so I bought a new memory card after several attempts to fix it. With the new card in, the message now reads, "card unreadable"

Make sure you're using an SD card, 2GB and smaller. The M537 won't work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

SOURCE: Memory Card Error - Locked

Take the card out, and you'll see a little slide switch on the side of the card. It is most likely in the "lock" position.

It sounds like your Dazzle is not compatible with the sandisk. Maybe the Sandisk CF UltraII card have a new update software in it.

SOURCE: Loaded new memory card, and screen reads memory

I'm guessing you bought a new 4GB SDHC card. Although it looks exactly the same as a standard SD card, the format the card uses is very different. If your camera is more than a few couple years old, it's likely it was designed before the SDHC format came out. Sorry, but a SDHC card will not work with older cameras.
For older cameras, you'll need to use standard SD cards (usually those 2GB or less). But if you really want to use a 4GB card, do a Google search for 4GB SD "non HC", with the non HC in quotes. Believe Transcend makes one.

My computers do not respond to PNY 32gb memory card

hi,

how are you doing for trying to get your files?
are you using a card reader ? are you using usb cable to the camera ? the best is the camera directly on usb, if you are able to read them in your cam with no errors... because it can be due to the formatting from the cam...
hope it'll help !
cheers

Canon SD1300 memory card locked

There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". The most common cause is having the tiny slide switch on the side of the card in the wrong position. But, if you've checked the slide switch, the internal switch in the card slot may be jammed by a grain of sand or gunk. Here are troubleshooting steps for this problem. Recommend the toothpick fix for your particular problem.

SD card can't be read "Card Locked" is all that

There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". Some include trying to use a 4GB SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. Others include problems with the tiny slide switch on the side of the card, or the electrical contact switch internal to the camera. The problem may also arise from simple formatting problems if the card has never been formatted in the camera (note that this will also erase the card). Troubleshooting tips for this problem may be found at this link.

Dell Inspiron 1525 Blue screen & windows error messages/reformat

Do a recovery first and if you are still getting a blue screen on this 1525 call dell and ask for a replacment do not go any further in trying to repair it yourself as anything you do would just make matters worse if its out of warrenty then the only thing you can do is try:

1. clean the unit if there is any dust
2. try new memory modules
3. run a memory diagnostic on it using windos diagnostics
4. recover the operating system.

I hope you have some good luck with this advice.

I bought a new memory card for my camera and when I put it in, the screen reads card error. What can I do to fix it besides go and purchase another memory card?

Hi,
Make sure the write protect lock is off by taking the card out of the camera, face the card towards you, look for a small white tab on the left hand side of the card, to unlock it push the tab down, it will be at the side of the card like this 59a6de4.jpg .

If you still get an error message after checking this i recommend you take the card back but take the camera with you and make sure the card works while you are still in store.

Good luck.
