Having problem with movie playback in Creative Zen 4Gb

Hi, a few days ago I bought the Creative Zen 4Gb mp3 player. Everything works fine, except movie playback, I've tried all supported file types and a lot of conversion programs, but some (a lot) of movies doesn't show the image and audio synchronized. It most be the zen's problem, because the files are played fine in the computer!
Does anyone have ever experienced this problem before? Do you guys think a firmware upgrade might help?
Please help me out, because the main reason for me to buy this product was being able to have a small portable and light mp3 player with great movie capabilities.

when i put any video from itunes on my zen player, it just comes up grey with no sound!! its the right file type (ive tried wmv mpeg EVERYTHING) and it definately has enought memory left, and the video plays fine on my pc! its just a huge problem which is made worse by creative not including a troubleshooting section in the user manual!!!!!!!!!!

pleas please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

hallo....a have got similar problem...like....a converted video to right codec file...but doesn't plays....doesn;t become a picture...and sound "breakable"

Use PocketDivXEnvcoder and run the outout through it's video/audio sync option before copying it to your Zen.

I would suggest you take it back and get another brand. I bought 2 of those and they both kept on having the same problem. I do not that the Creative Zen is good product.

Zen shutting down

Update the firmware that creative put out you should be fine from there.

Cant get videos on my Creative Zen Mozaic 4gb

The videos have to be converted using Creative Centrale in order to placed on the player. This was the same way with a lot of Creative's Zen line of players also.
If you don't have the copy that the Mosaic came with, you can download it here.

Can't play videos on Zen

I needed to convert the videos into smaller bitrate. I found a converter that has this option, and it works. everithing is ok now :)

Creative labs zen v 4gb mp3 player seems to have haywire...

It probably has some moisture still in it and needs to dry out.....This happened to me with my iPod....Put in a window seal that gets sun light all day and leave it there for 2 days....A friend of mine dropped his in a craper and he put his in a ziplock bag full of kitty litter and it worked as well.....So I would give either one of those a try...what’s the worst that can happen...it dries out and works :)

Hi, I had the same problem with my Zen V Plus. I held the volume + button in and connected the Zen to the computer using the USB cable and the Zen came back to life ! Try it - it might just work like it did for me.

Creative zen playback problem

i guess it's some kind of... piracy filter. If the clip is too long, the player will automatically asume that you've downloaded a movie illegally. that what i think.

My creative zen neeon 2 (4GB) isn't turning ON

Try charging it with a creative charger or bring it down to its retail store. The battery might be completely drained flat.
