Cossacks runs and comes up with a black screen nothing else and then i closes the black screen and says could not load missions text

I have installed cossacks game .but it is asking when i click to play that "game cannot run without the game cd "

set windows resolution to 1024x768 by right clicking on your desktop and selecting properties
Set ingame resolution to 1280x600 in setup

i cant down load things to it

download a file from http://www.4shared.com/file/VM0Dqt5J/SavedGame06.html? and copy it in documents>capcom>DEVILMAYCRY4 and start game-load game select any mission

If you have Windows 7 Ultimate, it comes with a Windows XP mode that allows you to emulate windows xp. If you haven't already tried right clicking the exe or shortcut and clicking the compatibility tab and setting it to windows xp service pack 2 (not 3 for some strange reasons)
