All files and folders have changed to shortcuts. Try to open (double click), nothing happen.

To disinfect just use cmd in elevated mode
key the following commands

attrib -r -s -h * /s /d
attrib -r -s -h *.* /s /d

del /s *.lnk

When the shortcut virus infects a device, all saved files would become inaccessible. To access your files, you can remove the shortcut virus from your USB drive, pen drive, or SD card using cmd, shortcut virus removal tool and other manual methods. If the virus or removal process resulted in some data loss, you can get your files back with EaseUS data recovery software

How to remove shortcut virus from pen drive:

1. Go to Start and search for cmd. Right-click on cmd and click on "Run as administrator.

2. Navigate to you pen drive by typing drive letter, type E: and hit Enter. (Replace E: with the drive letter of your USB, pen drive.)

3. Type "del *. lnk "and hit Enter on your keyboard.

4. Now type "attrib -s -r -h *. * /s /d /l" and hit enter.

Why? Because that's what the virus is doing, maliciously.

Update your computer's anti-virus.
Or, better yet, UNINSTALL it (it may have been sabotaged/compromised) and install anti-virus software by downloading from: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Install this software. As the final step of the install, choose "full" anti-virus scan, and also select the drive-letter for your pen-drive, so that it also gets scanned for malware.

Processing is very slow

it seems your computer or the pen drive or both virus infected.
press win button + R - type cmd - type H: (if your pen drive recognized as H or (whatever your pen drive's drive letter)
then carefully type the following without bracket [attrib -r -s -h *.* /s /d]
press enter. now check your pen drive. if you could not, inform me i'll give images with explanation

May be for a virus when i connect my SmartDisk Flash Trax XT 40 GB, all the folder and files show a shortcut each one. No open the file.How could I restore the original state?

When i open my flash memory all folders appeared as shortcut folders and when i scanned it by anti-virus the message is : H:\autorun.inf - error opening Thanx

try to use USB Disk Security sofware, u can download it at
