I have a Canon Pixma MX310, when I want to copy a document, the paper does not feed properly and I'm using the appropiate type of paper but every time it jams. May be the roller is dirty, but I don't know how to clean it. Please, help me to solve this problem, Thanks you so much.

Accessing the take-up rollers can be difficult. Use a lint-free cloth dampened with a mild soap solution. If you have printed a lot of pages, paper 'fluff' can coat the rollers causing slippage. You may need to use a more aggressive cleaner (metho or similar). Another possibility is an uneven tension in the springs in the paper drawer. Check that the drawer when returned to correct position is holding the paper level.

How do i print copys of MX310 printer manual

Do you mean the Canon Pixma MX310 all-in-one inkjet printer? If you wish to print a copy without using a computer, first make sure that you have ink and paper loaded and that the all-in-one is on and the paper output tray is extended. Place your document face down on the glass or face up in the automatic document feeder. (Note: the scanner doesn't see the document if it is within 2 mm of some of the edges of the platen glass. If you use the ADF, remove any document currently on the glass.) Press Copy (if the unit isn't already set to copy). Check the default settings on the LCD screen and enter the number of copies desired. Press Settings to change any items and use the left/right arrows to change the number of copies, if needed. Press the Color or Black button to make the copy(ies). Color for color documents and Black for black & white documents. Press Cancel to stop copying.

The FAQ on making a copy without storing the image on a computer is here: https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART120681&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1485643876501 .

The manual is available on the product support page: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mx-series/pixma-mx310 . Click on the Manuals tab. The manual is in a self-extracting executable file. You'll need to run the program and then find the icon or folder where the manual is stored. (The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Canon/IJ Manual .)

I hope this helps. If this doesn't work, please add a comment with any error messages that you see.

Does canon pixma mx 310 work faxing page up or page down?

When using the ADF load the document with the side you want to copy, fax or scan facing UP in the ADF.

When using the platen glass load the document with the side to be copied, faxed or scanned facing DOWN on the platen glass.

Double printing on pixma mp470

Double printing or double feed??. Double printing means document printed in 2 copies. Double feed means printer feed double paper in one moment. For double printing, please check number of copy of document in printing preference properties.
Double feed occurs when pickup roller fails to pick the paper correctly. It's usually caused by shaft of paper pick up roller which is broken. You should replace drive assembly (include pick up roller) in this case

Can't work out how to use the multiscan? I press scan and it comes up with multiscan and I put the first piece of paper in but don't seem to get asked for any more sheets and it therefore just scans one...

Anita,

Put the pages in the "multiscan" all at once, not just one sheet at a time. The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) will feed one sheet of your document at a time untill all of the pages are scanned...

Canon Pixma MX310: misfeeds

Hi Paper misfeeds are normally caused by something obstructing the paper path. Look really carefully both above and below the path that the paper takes through the printer. The jammed paper itself can give you a clue about which side the obstruction is on, there wiil often be some sign, such as a bent corner on the page etc. Also check the sliding guides that keep the paper straight, they should be slid in until they are a snug fit with the paper, but not so tight that they stop it from feeding

There is some kind of mechanical lock on it. Push, Pull, Tip or Slide to correct position. It is only plastig. Look under and behind it to figure it out.

Canon mx310 feeds paper w/out printing

Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
