I have a sunbeam cooltouch bakehouse breadmaker (BM4700). I haven't used it regulary over the 10 years I've had it so I can't say it has worn out. My friend got hers at the same time and hers is working perfectly, so I gave her mine to try and see if her bread would come out as bad as mine. The bread turned out small thick tecture and stodgy. It seems to be going through the baking process of kneading etc and the breadmaker is warm. I had it down to our local eletricians to test that the elements are working, they said they were fine. The bread use to turn out lovely. I have bought fresh ingredients and still the bread is small and stodgy, only good for a door stop. Is the breadmaker worth sending away to get fixed or is it going to cost more than getting a new one. I would have thought I would have got more use out of it. I keep it clean and have looked after this product. I would appreciate your expert advise. Regards Heather
