It's clear that you have to clear the Cache and the other weird message might be something like cookies etc... Could you please tell me the name of the Internet Browser you are using? Since you didn't mention the browser, I have to assume myself it as Internet Explorer. First close the internet explorer (without closing the internet browser, it's not important to do this, the cache files that are being used will not be cleared and you'll not see the effect). Open the Control Panel, and again open the "Internet Options", on the "General" tab, click "Settings" beside the "Delete" in the "Browsing History" field, another dialog box will pop up, check the "Disk Space to use......" and increase the value if it's less than 500 (you can increase it upto 1GB). After it's done, click and return to the "Internet Options" dialog box, now click the "Delete" button just beside the "Settings" below the "Browsing History", another pop will come up, from there, verify that the first four options are selected/checked and click "Delete", confirm if you are, wait for few seconds until the delete is completed, and exit the "Internet Options". Now open the browser and work with your emails. It should work fine.

If your internet browser isn't Internet Explorer, you have to delete the cache/cookies/temp files from the "Tools" menu i.e. in Firefox: Tools > Advanced > Network > Clear Now, and in GoogleChrome, Tools > Under the Hood > Clear Browsing Data. You may be asked to close the respective browsers, do so or it may automatically do it for you with another confirmation.
After you are done, Restart your computer and try again. There are also several Tools/Programs to clear these things, if you can't do it as mentioned above, let me know so that I can give you the link where you can download the tools.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How to change password

Problems Signing In?
If you're having problems signing in to eBay, check the following information for a possible solution:
Problem
Solution I forgot my password, user ID, or both. Forgot Password
Ask eBay to SEND PASSWORD to your email address. Enter your user ID and click 'Continue'. The email you receive will give you a link to reset your password.
Note: You may need to answer your secret question and at least one other question related to your account.
Forgot User ID
Ask eBay to SEND YOUR USER ID to your email address. Enter your email address and click 'Continue'. The email you receive will tell you your user ID and give you a link to reset your password if you need to do so.
If you have tried the instructions above but have not yet received an email from eBay, please:
  • Check your bulk or junk email folders and filters to make sure they are not blocking eBay emails.
  • Make sure your email inbox is not full. If it is, delete some email and then try the steps listed above again.
Note: If you receive an alert message that your user ID can't be verified, you may be asked to provide additional verification to confirm that you are the account holder. Follow the instructions in the alert message. I get a "Your sign-in information is not valid" message. Make sure that your Caps Lock key is off then try signing in again. If you still can't sign in, do the following:
Note: eBay will send you information to the email address associated with your member account. You should receive a response within 24 hours, depending on your email system
Important: If you have bought an item as a guest you will not have an eBay user ID or password. You will need to register to obtain a valid user ID and password. My account has been suspended. See our information about suspended accounts. I got a message saying the page couldn't be displayed. This is often a temporary problem. Try signing in again. If you still receive the message, try the following:
  • Make sure your browser is up to date. eBay uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which may not be supported by an older browser. You may need to upgrade your browser in order to sign in to eBay.
  • Try deleting (clearing) your cookies and your browser's cache (also called temporary internet files).
Note: Cookies are small files placed on the hard drive of your computer, which eBay uses to provide you with services.
Cache is a local storage area on your computer where copies of images and web pages are kept for quicker viewing the next time you visit the same page. Your cache can become outdated or full, causing pages to load slowly or not at all. See the Help section of your browser's menu to learn how to delete these temporary Internet files. I received a message that says I need to enter a verification code. To help us maintain safety on eBay, eBay occasionally asks for an additional security check during sign in. If you get this message, type the code hidden in the image into the box, then click the Sign in button. If you can't see the image, click the "Listen to the verification code" link to go through an audio security check.

hi names Rui i like to help you with you cityville problem. By giving you step by step tips in fixin your web browser... Either your using : internet explorer, mozilla, safari, or google chrome I will give you easy ways on doing it yourself.

Did you know that Cityville uses javascript which is a client side technology which means that the processing of certain things on cityville happens on your actual computer and not on there servers. So if you notice that your cityville is having problems responding and loading it could be because your systems cache is full. The cache is a place your system stores information which is needed to display websites.

Here are a few instructions to clear your cache

Internet Explorer 7 & 8

1. Open IE (Internet Explorer).
2. Click Tools tab located at the top.
3. Scroll down and then select Internet Options.
4. Click Delete under Browsing History.
5. At the bottom there should be an option "delete all" click this and then click "yes"
Close Internet Explorer entirely and re-launch.

For Firefox 3.5.8 or 3.6:

1. Open FF (fire fox)
2. Click The Tools Tab Located At The Top.
3. Then Select Options
4. From tabs, Select "Privacy"
5. Click on "Clear Your Recent History"
6. Then From Drop Down Menu, Select "Everything" AND
From Drop Down Menu, Leave Only "Cache" checked
7. Click "Clear Now"
8. Click "OK" on Privacy Screen
9 . Then restart firefox by closing it entirely and re-opening

For Safari Browser:

1. From the menu, click Empty Cache.
2. You will be asked: "Are you sure you want to empty the cache?" click Empty.
3. From the Safari menu, click on Preferences.
4. From the Security dialog box, click Bookmarks.
5. Click Show Cookies.
6. From the Cookie dialog box, click Remove All.
7. Click Done.

Google Chrome :

1. To Start Off Open Google Chrome.
2. Click the "Wrench Tool" at the upper right corner below the "X"/"Close".
3. Then Select "Options"
4. Click on the "Under the Hood"
5. Then click "Clear Browsing Data"
6. Make sure the "Empty the Cache" and "Delete Cookies" is checked and also the "Clear data from this period" is "Everything".
7. Click "Clear Browsing Data"

Hope this helps you fix your problem.

I can recieve emails in my email account but I cannot reply to them or send new messages. It coems up with a connection failed message.

The problem would be on your internet connection, I would highly suggest you to restart your computer and try sending message once more. You would also want to consider clearing your browsers cache and cookies, clearing cache and cookies steps will depend on the browser you are using. Google Chrome and Safari browser are notorious in having browser issues, so I would suggest you to use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer instead. you can visit the site blelow for the steps on how to clear your browsers cache and cookies.

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. If all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out.
