Computer game i have just brought a game named prision tycoon 2 on computer and i have installed it all; correct and when you click on free play or challenge it comes up with a loading screen the loading bar fills up about 3/4 and then it stops and the game dosent continue and i really was looking forword to playing this game

Method 1.
Let us first download and install the patch for this game and then try playing and check if it works.

Method 2.
If you are unable to play the game or install the patch perform the below steps.

a. Click start and type msconfig in search bar and press enter.
b. Select boot.
c. Go to Advanced options.
d. Place a checkmark on Check maximum memory and increase it to the maximum.
e. click ok and the apply and ok again.

Method 3.
Try playing the game in clean boot state and check if it works.

I'm having this same problem- but mine started doing this AFTER I played it for 4 years!! I closed my laptop lid for a week, and I "Continued With System Resume" and now it wont work! I've tried all the **** people have told me to do- so I just deleted a;ll my mods that I put into the game...and now I'm re-install the game..again.

Its because airport tycoon 2 is not compatible with windows 7, it is only compatible with Windows 2000 and XP. But here try this one if it will help you. It will open a Windows XP inside your win7 .

• First you will need to download this software. DOWNLOAD
• After downloading the software, Run it and install it to your computer.
• On the First Page of installation, just click Next
• On the Second Page, Choose the destination folder where the software will be installed.
• On the third Page, It will ask you, if you want to check updates during startup. Just Check the checkbox.
• On the fourth Page, It will ask you to help improve the software, Uncheck this one because you wont need this.
• On the Next page it will as you if you want to add shortcuts. just check all.
• On the Next Page, Just click Continue to start the Installation process.
• Wait for the Installation to finish.
• After the installation is finished. The final Page will ask you to restart your PC, Choose Restart Now.
• Now to create a XP on your WINDOW 7, you will need a Bootable Windows XP CD installer.
• Insert the CD in your optical drive.
• now open the software you installed.
• Click on Create New Virtual Machine.
• Now on the next page, Choose your installer disc. That will be your optical drive.click Next
• On the next page, write your full name, username and password, click next.
• On the next page, Write the name you want for the machine and choose the location where your machine will be saved.
• On the next page, Write how much disc space you want. Remember that the size of the drive you will write will be deducted to the original size of your PC harddrive. And choose Store the Disk in single file.
• Then click Next to start the machine.
• This is also like installing a window XP on your PC.
• Once the installation is complete, install your airport tycoon 2 there and try playing the game.
• That's it.

I had this problem with this game.

Try right clicking on the shortcut (game icon), go down to properties, switch to the compatibility tab, click the 'run this program in compatibility mode' and put the pulldown options on XP (Service Pack 2), you might also try clicking the box at the bottom that says 'run this program as administrator'.

After making these changes press 'apply' and then 'ok' and then try double clicking on the shortcut again.

If you're referring to the Global Star version of Oil Tycoon, then yes it does work. When installing, do not install DirectX Media as the movies play fine. I wasn't able to get the music working, but I don't play it anyway.
You'll have to change the compatibility settings to the following:
Run as Windows Xp (Service Pack 2) Disable Visual Themes Disable Desktop Composition

Hello there,

Usually this happens when the computer is compatible to run the game but not compatible to keep it playing,,, meaning that the computer can execute the game (get it started) but fails to keep it going. The cause of this problem is the graphics adapter so a new graphics card will solve this problem, and remember when buying a graphics card make sure you buy one that is better than the one the game requires.

hey.............................................................................................................. r u using a no-cd patch on it................if then, we all know tht the patches give errors in this is game, so better use a version of School tycoon that has a UHARC installer or Ripped

i would uninstall it entirly and start over with a new instalation, also is the game compatible with your pc.

the solution on the cd disc is to remove the cd out then uninstall the all games installed in this cd drive replace cd drive when it comes to uninstalling sim delux is goto where saved games in sim deluxe and save folder to a different location then uninstall then re-install with new cd drive and hunt net for nc patches for games that work if this still doesn't work time for re-install windows from scratch if you have a spare hard drive use it to copy all game saves to it then redo windows and all drivers then all games then place saves back into place where they came from. good luck.
