Stormtracker Hello, just wondering if you know where I can get a manual for this darn radio? My kids messed with the radio, and now, I need to totally do the set up again. Do you know of any help?

    Don't have instruction manual and can't figure out how to use the radio for storm tracking.

    cannot find the manual for this vec 438 storm tracker. I have tried all kinds of searches. I did not see where these typed pages are that some one said they had.

Well, they will be inside the case! Start undoing screws and split the case, left and right.

Dropping feed dogs
Manual seems to imply that you have to cover the needle plate with a "darning plate," which just build up the area around the feed dogs so they don't reach the fabric--pretty inelegant, plus I wonder if you can even find the darning plate anymore. Let me know if you figure out anything else!

Get a boyfriend stop jumping the car...JUST KIDDING. You must have a reset button, it's not very big , you can push the reset with a pin, it's a small cercle on the right hand side of your radio. Try that and let me know

2 Way Radios not talking to one another
Kids will be kids, and if you also remember back when you were a kid, you probably did the sames things the kids did. (I know I did)
Kids like to play with the knobs, push buttons, turn the dial...Maybe if you checked to see that Both radios are set to the same frequency.
Check the Channel & Interference Eliminator Codes. The dials are located under the battery compartment.

Click on the mute button while WEATHER is selected on the dial. This should MUTE audio and ALERT will appear on LED. Then you will only hear ALERTS.
