How to open an archive file from mail MS Outlook Express (dbx type), but without MS Outlook Express?

Look at the File menu. Perhaps there you will find "to Open".... It is possible through the import will work, but specify other personal folder (that others mail didn't mix up with yourself mail). File - Import - Outlook Express - the Main record - Review - the Necessary file - OK. I have my mail is almost always through the import downloaded, after reinstalling. File with extension *.dbx

DBX files (files with *.dbx extension) are the files where Outlook Express stores email messages.They can be found in so-called Outlook Express Store Folder named"Inbox.dbx," "Sent Items.dbx," etc. To determine Store Folder locationclick Store Folder button at Tools>Options>Maintenance in OutlookExpress. DBX files may be copied to another folder in order to backup e-mail messages.

Please follow the simple steps to retrieve it.

Create folder of same name with which your dbx file is, e.g. personal.dbx create new folder name it personal.

Shut your out look express.

Copy the dbx file, go to the folder which contains DBX files of your outlook express, since you have created same folder in your new outlook express, you will see named dbx file, just over write the file which you newly created with your old file.

Start your outlook express again and you will be able to see all your email in the folder.
