My brother borrowed my GoVideo DP7240 portable DVD player and lost both
the AC power adapter and the cigarette lighter adapter. Any idea where
I can find replacements? I've emailed GoVideo and haven't heard back
yet and don't want to go to universal adapter unless it's my only

The end of the plug which gets inserted into the cigarette lighter/power port should unscrew. Inside is a fuse. You need to replace it with the identical size and rating of fuse. Check the unit with an ohm meter for any shorts between both conductors. If the unit is shorted toss it and get a new one. If it isn't shorted it should work with a new fuse.
