I have a Samsung DVD sh853 and the letters pso have appeared.What does this mean? The tv also appears to be frozen on one channel

How do I find my MAC address for PSO

Go to the system settings and then go to where it says system information. In that area you will see the MAC address for your psp.

HDMI brings up "PSO", PSCAN button will not remove state

Press the PSCAN button THREE TIMES in succesion and it will solve your problem.

Get rid of PSO

hold the v-scan buton on front panel and you will see the menu for changing the progressive to rgb..

Make sure the Progressive scan is not on if you are using RCA out(yellow/white and red cables) check the dvd screen to see if there is a P

IN THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER THERE IS A LITTLE DOOR WHEN THE LITTLE DOOR IS OPEN THERE IS A BUTTON P-SCAN PUSH IT .AND IT'S GONE
