Playback is fine on the camcorder screen, however when plugged into tv only sound is clear. When paused or in FF or REW image shows, but when PLAY is pressed it goes back to black with a bit of static.
Make sure your AV cable is plugged firmly into the camera. These cables can problem your observing when they are not fully "plugged in". If that does not solve your problem, the front pcb (board underneath lens assy) may have a bad connection. I charge a flat rate of $125.00 for camcorders including parts in most cases with a 90 warranty. If the repair cannot be made for this price a free estimate will be given. I have a similar problem, I plug it in to theTV and it only shows in Black and White, I have tried two AV cables. but both seem to do the same
