Water has been leaking out of the bottom of my washer, and it has been making a horrible grinding sound. It finally stopped spinning last night, though it makes noises and tries to run.

Hi just read your posting. Now when is the machine noisy? Is it when the machine pumps out the water or when the bowl spins.Sorry to ask you this but please be accurate when you reply to this question. The reason being is that if it is noisy when it pumps the water it could be your pump but if it is noisy when the bowl turns for the spin then the problem will be your bearings and seals.Select a spin cycle and push start,is it noisy as soon as you push the start button? Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you.Looking forward to your reply.

I have a Whirlpool Gold washer (MOD# GSQ9669LW0). The washer makes a grinding noise below when in operation. Spins when agitating, but not in rinse mode. Water still pumps out in final spin.

This machine can get items stuck in the drum, the bearings can go bad etc. https://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Washing-Machine/38-5-620929-/Whirlpool-Washer-won-t-spin-GSQ9669LW0.

LG Tromm WM2277 leaking from back bottom

The last spin is the final Emptying phase. There has to be a leak somewhere in the exiting water route. All tubing and the water pump along with all clamps will need to be checked for integrity.

My lgis making a horrible noise and is now shoeing an e1 code dishwasher

The LG does suffer from "poor quality" motor that causes this type of noise. The main motor and pump assembly is common to give this type of problem. The pump seal leaks a small amount of water that gets onto the front bearing and causes a "grinding = humming" noise. This can be easly replaced once you have the bottom off and dishwasher on its door. The motoe has 1 screw in the back holding the motor to the bottom and two rubber seals for the water pump in/out into the washer. Just pull and move motor and pump assmbly and it comes free. Replace with a new motor and pump assembly...

When it is on the rinse cycle it makes a horrible sound

could be a clutch or drive tube problem, on the bottom of your basket drive tube is a thrust washer,it eventually wears off the boyyom of the tube and your clip that holds on your brake release arm falls off breaking your clutch arm and thus no spin will happen ,, sounds like yours is grinding off the bottom of the basket drive tube,, mine was always screaching on the rinse spin and finally gave out when it wore the bottom off my tube, went and bought a used tube installed it with a new clutch and works fine now no more screaching!

Washer won't spin

Maybe when you were behind the machine, you did not refit the outlet pipe at the correct height; this is a height approx. 3 feet from the ground or more. Your pump pumps the water OVER this height.

You said it does not spin; you shd check out your outlet filter and clean it. If this is clogged the machine will not spin. All the best!

5 yr old washer is leaking

Ellbee, remove the two screws at the bottom of the front panel and lift it towards you. Two clips on the top that hold it will release. You can now get a good look at the pump. Catriver..post back.
