Question about Olympus VN-4100PC Digital Voice Recorder

Can you recover deleted files from the Olympus Recorder VN-4100PC? also, one of my files is unable to play. any way of recovering it?

Hi, I deleted all files in my VN 4100PC, the link Data Recovery does not work. Can you help my Plis!!!!

YES, it is definitely possible to recover such kind of files deleted from your Olympus recorder.

First things first: DO NOT take any more videos or audio with the recorder that you want to recover files from in case you may quite possibly ruin your chances of voice memo file recovery.

Then connect your recorder to a PC with a recovery program installed. Photo Recovery Software (also recover Voice memos, audio and video files) is right what you need to use if you are running Windows. If you are Mac OS X users, turn to Data Recovery for Mac.

But you should remember - the more you use your recorder, the less likely you may be able to recover the deleted files back! So STOP using the device ASAP. I hope this will help. Best regards!

As to the deleted files, I think I can help!
The deleted files are not actually wiped out from the storage device after the deletion. They are still there and become invisible.
In order to make them visible and accessible again, you need a data recovery program.
You must have found plenty of data recovery tools on the internet. But, you have no need to try them one by one.
Here is a deleted file data recovery freeware that could help you a lot:

Sorry...once files have been deleted they are gone...there is no "recyle bin" that holds them like on your PC.

I deleted date from Olympus VN-4100PC

When the Digital Wave Player application copies the files to yourcomputer, the default location is under My Documents>Digital WavePlayer>Message. There, you will see FolderA, FolderB, etc. +Recording & Schedule folders.

If the files are not there, use a file recovery application, such as PhotoRec to recover the deleted files.

Deleted files from Olmpus recorder

Those voice recordings can be recovered provided not overwritten(if you keep taken more records, then possible). But do not be that worried as it is not so easy to be overwritten, you can try some audio recovery software to get them recovered. Here are some for your option. Both programs can also recover videos and photos.
