I have a 110 tanning bed that trips breaker on start up. I can reset breaker and bed works as should. What would cause this issue? The bed has worked fine for the past year with no problems.

Question edited for clarity and translated into written English.

'110' is presumably the voltage? All questions need full 'make model (what it is ) as the first 3 words please.

Generic information, the reason is normally the ballasts and starters for the tubes.

Your tvs sensitive ic chips on the power boards have been subjected to an undetected voltage spike and are fried. I'm guessing that none were plugged in to a surge protector?

Hello: I have a Maytag MDE9700AYM that was purchased three years ago but has been installed for less than one year. After the unit runs for 10-20 minutes, the circuit breakers trips off. Otherwise the...

It's possibly the circuit breaker rather than the dryer itself. Usually when it trips, it is overloaded or shorted. Overload can be a result of a loose connection or a bad heating element, when you remove the old breaker, see if it has some noticeable burn/corrosion marks where the wire is screwed down, I think replacing the breaker will fix the problem. Hope this helped Tim

Breaker malfunction- Breaker won't restore power to the circuit

To do this safely you should call an electrician. No way I can give you complete instructions that will be sure to be safe because I can't see exactly what the situation is that you have. But the basic steps include: turning off the main, understanding that you are about to expose the feed lugs TO the main which are still LIVE (and giving them a wide berth!), carefully removing the cover, CONFIRMING that everything else in the box is NOT LIVE (use a non-contact voltage detector - $15 or less), removing the wire from the old breaker, pulling the old breaker out, plugging the new breaker in, connecting the wire to the new breaker (nice and tight), replacing the cover and then turning the main back on.

Electric oven and stovetop do not work, clock and oven light do.

Sounds like you are only getting 120 volts instead of 240 volts. Either a house electical problem or wiring in range. First go to your breaker and turn it off and on three times and give it a little extra push each time you flip it. ( You can actually flip a breaker off and on without resetting a blown breaker if you doni't push it all the way off and all the way on. If the breaker throws itself off do not reset it. You have an elecrical short in your house or range. If resetting the breaker does not work then you need to test for 240 volts coming into the range. We don't recommend you do any electical testing unless you know what you are doing with electicity. If you have 240 volts going to the range then unplug your range and remove the backing panel off the back of the range. Look for burned wiring or terminal blocks. If there is nothing obvious then you need to know how to read a wiring schematic and use a electical tester to go any farther. Let me know if this helps. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

AC tripping breaker.

Check its wiring connection. Could be loose connection, corrosion.Or the breaker is already retiring. If the breaker is fairly rated to the aircon unit. Also insect could be the culprit.

Breaker keeps tripping

If the breaker itself is more than 15 years old, replace it. If it continues to switch off, check the amp draw of both the inside and outside unit.

Dryer will not start, timer sounds like it is running

Possibly a door switch, or starting switch near timer assembly. it could also be a bad breaker, dryers have a double breaker, even if you are getting electricity to part of your dryer 1 bad breaker might not let the rest of the dryer work. With electrical experiance, and elect. tools, have some one test breakers and plug voltage.
