Hi,

if your Brother's printer is anything like mine, it won't print in any color (or black/white) if any one ink cartridge is empty. I just put any color cartridge I had in the empty slot to force it to print black and white.

MFC-210C, keeps saying " NO Cartridge" lift

This unit has issues with the ink detect sensors. Have you tried a brand new cartridge? Other wise you may need a technician to solve the issue directly.

I refilled my Lexmark cartridge but it continues to say I need to install a new cartridge. The printer model is x2670.

Hello there,

The reason why your Lexmark printer keeps on telling you to install new cartridge because the printer have ink cartridge detection. Meaning it will detect whether that particular cartridge is an old one or not.

Each Ink Cartridges have its code and it will be registered to the printer once you have connected it. The printer will assume the ink level and once it is empty, that particular Lexmark Ink Cartridge will be registered to your printer as an empty ink cartridge and needed to be replace with a new one.

I would suggest getting a genuine new cartridge instead of refilling the ink cartridges.

My printer keeps saying to install a ink cartiage but there is one already in there.

Solution 1. you need to remove and return tightly the ink cartridge.

Solution 2. maybe you purchase ink cartridge that are not compatible with the printer.

Solution 3. if you are only refilling the ink cartridge, maybe it is worn out and the printer is no longer detecting the cartridge due to wear and tear.

I have a new LC61 and just replaced the blk

Leave the machine on with ink installed, unplug power for a few seconds and then plug in while you hold the stop button for a few seconds. Should clear the error for you, if not you may need a new ink sensor board.

Yellow ink cannot be recognize by the printer

The problem is that the priter can't detect the ink, because the cartridge has low level ink. I put scotch tape and colored it yellow- on the part where the ink is detected - so the printer will detect the color I put on the tape. BUT as others said it can damage your printer if you will always do this.

Ink Cartridge Error

on your cartridges there is a chip that detects if the ink is low. The chip on your yellow cartridge is bad. You should return the cartridge for a new one(if you still have your receipt) or visit a Cartridge World in your area and they can put a new chip on for you
