Washer keeps spinning. doesn't move to next cycle

Hi,
It sounds like the agitator , air bell or transmission is failing. Since the unit spins the belt & motor is ok. I recommend removing & inspecting the agitator & air bell. If they are not stripped out then you have a transmission failure.
Or, start the washer at the beginning of a cycle set to the lowest water level. After the unit fills it should be agitating stop the washer. Open the lid & try moving the agitator, if the agitator will not move it is good & no need to remove for inspection. You have a bad transmission. If the agitator moves easily then we know that the agitator or air bell is stripped out & will need to be inspected for confirmation before replacing.

Hope this helps.

Drier was working O.k . Timmer Stop working And so did the Heating. Does the Timmer control Temperature aswell.?

Yes, if the timer mech is damaged and, it will not rotate, this is cause the heating cycle to become inoperable. the time is responsible for initiating the heating command and the thermostat helps with the temp regulations. replacing the timer will restore the normal functions of your dryer.

Timer does not move in Auto/delecate

Im guessing there is another thermostat in the circuit to actuate the timer motor circuit. If you can find the timer motor wires check for voltage in the run (cycles yuor having trouble with) modes. Automaticadvance timmer mode is usually an open set of contacts and close when the element is heating too correct temperature allowing power to continue to the timmer motor. In the delicate cycle often it is the same thermostat on a differant set of contacts (but they could be on the same thermostat this type of thermostat has 3 termjinals usually 2 on 1 side and 1 on the other). that energize the timer motor.

The other thing that could be the problem is the timmer itself. There has to be a set of contacts inside the timmer that energize the timer motor in both cycles. these are or can work on some cycles but not others due to worn out parts in the timer. Check for voltages her that corrospond with your timer motor.

Hope this helps Please rate me accordingly and GOOD LUCK
