You need to download the LSS (Lightscribe System Software) from
http://www.lightscribe.com/DownloadSection/windows/index.aspx
and install it. It doesn't install automatically with your disc driver. This link is for XP which I assume you have.

Once you install the software, it will place an Icon on your desktop for the Lightscribe Progrram. Double click that icon and you will find the rest easy.

One note, the default font size is rather small so don't be too surprise if your first label disappoints you.

Too bad. Basically, if you don't see the lightscribe logo on the drive door its not supported. Sorry, for your troubles.

HOW DO I DOWN LOAD DRIVERS FOR A LIGHT SCRIBE DVD WRITE ABLE /CD RW DRIVE. MODEL # GSA-H3OL

Hi...

If your LG LightScribe drive will not need drivers to work as a 'normal' DVD drive as this function is Plug n' Play.

BTW - You have a great drive there... I have GSA E10L and a GSA E40L - Both fantastic drives...

However to use LightScribe you will need both:

1: LightScribe System Software
and
2: LightScribe Labeling Software.

You can download the System Software here:
http://lightscribesoftware.org/lightscribesystemsoftware/

And FREE LightScribe Labelng Software here:
http://lightscribesoftware.org/freesoftware/windows/

Happy Scribing...

Anyone know where to get the drivers for my LG lightscribe burner GSA-E30L ?

Windows XP/Vista/7 operating systems have the driver for all disc drives build in. If it isn't working, then the driver is not your problem.

Can i connect gh 22n to my netbook

Hi,

Yes you can connect the LG GSA DVD RW to your netbook and it should work fine.
Install software like Nero burn or Lightscribe to burn DVDs.

You dont need drivers to connect or install the LG DVD as it is compatible to with netbook.

Thank you for contacting FixYa

System does not show light scribe svc available

THIS DID IT TO ME 3 DAYS AGO.  I'M NOT SURE HOW IT CAN JUSR DISAPPEAR AFTER USING IT, BUT IT DID.  WHEN I WENT TO BURN THE LABEL IT REDIRECTED ME TO THE WEBSITE TO DOWNLOAD A GENERIC LIGHTSCRIBE.  I HAVE A DVD ISSUE NOW AND UNINSTALLED THE PROGRAMS THAT CAME WITH THE WRITER AND MY ORIGINAL LIGHTSCRIBE REAPPEARED!  I DON'T REMEMBER THE WEBSITE, BUT TRY A SEARCH FOR "GENERIC LIGHTSCRIBE"
