Kodak EasyShareC743 - can view pictures but unable to save to computer

I can view my pictures under the my computer/camera. But when I try to save them or copy them to a folder it won't work. When I doubleclick on the picture, view larger, it's tells me no preview available. Also, when I right click on the picture it shows me that it has no properties. Any suggestions on how I can save these to my computer? I've also tried the camera wizard and it tells me it can't detect the camera.

I had the same problem, and after some time I remembered that my camera had been for a long time without batteries. When I tried to get new pictures, it asked me to set date/time. After that, I was able to download the pictures again.

Iam unable to view the pictures I took with my former Easyshare. It says unreconized-file format. Is there a way I can view the pictures taken with my old camera?

Many cameras will not display pictures that were taken with a different type of camera. You should still be able to view those pictures on the original camera, a computer, or a digital photo frame.

If I may make a gentle suggestion, use your camera to take pictures. To display them, use something better suited for the task.

I Been trying to move my pictures from my kodak easyshare to my pictures in my computer for days now.Is there anyone out there who can help me out? Thanks,JimmyJoe

The original pictures are saved under your C-Drive and not under Easyshare.

1: Go into my documents
2: Find the location of the camera and your pictures
3: Drag and drop from the camera to the computer

White out LCD screen

Try a manual reset. Remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave the camera alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.

Unable to unload pictures from camera to computer

I've never used a "program" to download my photos, and I've been able to download them on any computer whatsoever. Plug the mini-B into the camera, then plug the USB into your desktop while it is off. Turn the camera on with the switch in View mode. Turn your computer on. Go to Windows explorer or My Computer. Your camera should show up as if it were a data drive with an icon of a camera. Double click that icon and you can view photos at will. Right click any photo to save, or use pull down menus above to save multiple photos at once to other drives.
