Lg xnote lm50a usb not working

Are all the USB ports dead? Remove the battery and let it refresh, if the ports still don't work you have a problem in the motherboard most likely. You can email LG product support and ask them (it is free), then can give you some testing procedures to confirm the problem with the USB ports is the motherboard.

Usb wont work in 2.0

Go into device manager and look at your Universal Controller Bus (USB). Make sure you don't have any that has a Question Mark or Exclamation Point on them. It looks like somewhere you don't have the correct drivers. Are you sure your USB Ports are 2.0?

I cannot get my keyboard or my mouse to work with my dell computer. what can i do?

Please add more information to get specific assistance. Are these wireless devices? If wired, do they use USB or PS/2 connections.

For wireless devices, try replacing the batteries and resynching to the receiver. (You may want to check putting the receiver in different USB ports.)

For wired devices, disconnect and reconnect. For PS/2 devices, you will need to restart the computer to check if the devices work. For USB devices, try connecting to different USB ports.

Next step, try using a different keyboard and mouse (that work on another computer (stick to USB or PS/2 to match the current pair)). Try a wired set if the problem is with a wireless pair. If those work, continue diagnostics on the wireless keyboard and mouse. Check if the mouse and keyboard work on another computer. If they don't work with another computer, replace them.

If another USB keyboard and mouse pair don't work in any port, your USB ports may have failed. Check if even one port works enough to access the Device Manager. (Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager (Win7); similar directions in other versions of Windows) Check for a problem with the drivers (For USB ports, scroll down to the USB drivers and look for a triangle with a yellow exclamation point or red x). Try to update the driver or roll it back. If that doesn't help and one USB port works, a USB hub may solve the problem.

Otherwise if the USB or PS/2 ports do not work with any devices and the driver fix doesn't work, then I'd suspect a problem with the ports on the motherboard. Replace the motherboard/computer.

I hope this helps.

My computer don't see mt toshiba 500 GB external disk. I had Win XP with SP3 and my external disk is connected to a USB hub with 8 ports. I had a pen connected to that hub and the computer see it. But...

Your USB hub cannot provide enough power for your external hdd, you can try to plug it in directly to any free USB port for the mean time to check if its detected or not, if it has a power button ( which is not normal for regular USB powered EXT HDD) make sure that it is on, if its still not working try to use a different cable, a known good cable or plug it in to a different computer to check if its your USB port, or the usb cable or the ext hdd that is causing the issue

Hope this help.

I don`t connect with usb of PC. The USB port not reconigze it

use only the rear USB port of desktop, because by using any extension or hub there is a voltage drop so that why it is not recognisezed, only use the rear USB port and use the orignal cable or branded product USB cable, loose cable also dont work with it.

My p.c. don´t work from usb.2 format

If I understand you correctly, your system board's USB ports do not support USB 2.0 devices. Most likely it maxes out at 1.1?

Try adding a PCI card in a free slot that has USB 2.0 ports on it. I've seen them with four ports on online stores and in catalogs.

Usb problem

You shouldn't need the USB driver 2.0 from mercury because windows installs this with SP2. Suggest you un-install what you installed from mercury & update your version of windows (completley), through "Windows Update". Once windows is all updated & you have finished with a reboot. Plug your pen drive in a opened usb port. Open windows explorer. Scroll down & you should see an icon (left side of explorer), thats named like, Removable Disk. Give windows time to see the device. After a few minutes if your pen device does not show up try another usb port. One you know does work. If after a couple of minutes go by & you still don't see the device listed in explorer I would say the device is defective. Your Mp4 uses a cable to connect to the usb. Try connecting to another PC's usb port. It is possible the cable is dirty or bad.
