I have a Lexmark X5150 and am trying to install it on my school computer. In the installation process this model is not listed and it says to pick a printer compatible with 5150 from the list. There are about 20 listed - what printers are compatible with 5150? Thank you for your time:)

Check the connection:
While the system is on, remove the connecting cable and reconnect to make sure that the device is being sensed.

remove your printer driver, then restart your computer.. then go to www.lexmark.com then click the tab that has to do with driver downloads.. then click "drivers"... then type x5150 in the model .. then select the appropriate version of windows that you have, and run the file.. that's what i had to do to fix mine

Select operating system version Macintosh 10.3.x. Download the driver listed there by clicking download now. Then, install this with the instructions given and restart the computer. Try to print.
