I am having problems connecting the Fujitsu Siemens M7405 to the tv, using tv out. What settings/conections should I be using?

you can restart it, and use F2..and reset bios password in that screen

Do a windows update to recover a more up to date driver for the wireless. If not go to Fujitsu's website and download a windows 7 up to date wireless network driver

If you already checked the connections then your backlight just went out on it

try to restart your laptop into safe mode with still the projector connected. notice if your safe mode desktop appears projected as exactly as your laptop's desktop screen. if so, you only need to further configure your display settings.

Check that you haven't switched on external monitor via the function keys.

what happened to ur current drive is it not reading the dvds why dont u try cleaning like this

open the dvd tray u see that eye like shiny thing clean in circular motions gently with soft cloth or tissue and try the dvds see if it reads it is a normal remedy otherwise change the drive if it doesnt help

normally there is one screw below the dvd drive i mean just beneath just take it out and pull ur whole drive unit out not just tray whole drive and replace it with any drive on ebay u can get it around 50 $ u can also fit any brand not just philips but u should look out for the bezel design (front panel ) u can also flip the front panel with the new one if all dimensions are same normally this slot is universal in size hope it helps u can ask for more

Unless you deleted it. You can go to control panel, keyboard and reprogram the key. Or if there is a special keyboard program, you can use that.
