My Hoover Floormate won't dispense the clean solution. With the tank off, I pull the handle and the little thing inside the circular fitting goes up and down and is wet from the tank. However, it doesn't make it to the bottom. I have left it running with the handle pulled for 10 minutes to try to get solution through and it just doesn't work. It worked fine for quite some time and then one day solution wouldn't come out. Can you help me please...

My Floormate has the same problem. When I depress the nozzle directly with the tank off, water comes out. But as soon as I put the tank back on and push the trigger, nothing comes out to clean the floor. It worked fine for two years.
I have the same problem. Yes when I have the reservoir off and I press the valve fluid dispenses but when it is on the vacuum I cant tell. Although when it is on and I pull the dispense trigger I really dont see the spring on the valve move much if at all, but I do see some bubbles come up.
Thanks for your help
Same problem. Does not dispense the cleaning solution. When I remove the cleaning solution tank and pour water into the "hole" it goes through< however when I put the tank back on I get nothing. When I push in slightly on the bottom of the clean solution tank it pours out. Please help.
I have the same issue as reported here - with the tank removed you can press on the diaphram but once assembled the solution won't dispense
