New apartment with A honeywell ademco 4110xm. I connected power and got master code. I get CHECK 05 and ALARM 06. Typing the code and OFF disables the ALARM 06 error, but Check 05 remains. Any help?

It is telling you that a zone is not working properly or is open. Ex. door not shut, window not shut. Something moving in front of a motion sensor. Fin out what zone 5 is and that is your problem for arming. Could be a battery if this is a wireless system.

When arming doors/windows and motion, after the time delay and actually arms, the motions light goes off.. why only doors/windows arm and not motion too?

Is this alarm part of the original car or an add on? Some alarms have different zones that can be activated or deactivated depending on the preference of the owner. If it is aftermarket you will need the manual to execute a sequence to arm or unarm the motion detector zone. The motion detector could be faulty and the alarm is isolating that zone. Need more information to help you

I have the Caddx NX-6 alarm system. Problem: Alarm system will not arm when entering the 4 digit code. Symptom: I have all doors/windows/zones closed. LED displays READY. I press the code and get 3...

If the power was out for 5 hours and the control panel still shows 'low battery', it's probably time to replace the battery for the control panel. However, this shouldn't keep the alarm panel from arming up. I would first try to re-start the control panel by removing the power and battery connection for a few seconds and plugging it back in. After that, it would be a good idea to re-enroll all of your attached sensors, etc. by entering into programming mode and exiting. Press * 8 + {go code} then just press exit. The default 'go' code is 9713. After about 15 seconds, the panel will have auto-enrolled each attached device. Try arming and disarming the panel. Be careful of setting off the alarm, as your monitoring station may dispatch police, etc. in the event of alarm. This is why having a certified alarm installer do this work is a good idea, as they can put your account with the monitoring station on 'test' so alarm signals are recorded for testing purposes but are not acted upon.

Problem arming all sensors on ge simon security

I have yet to test it but I think I've figured it out... I spoke to the place I bought the alarm from and he stated that for both the door/windows & motion to arm, you have to leave the house (or activate an exit door) or the alarm thinks you are still in the house. Since the motion is instant on, this prevents you from accidentally setting off the alarm if you armed it and never left.

So what if you want to arm both and stay inside? There is an option called Unvacted premises (in the Timers menu). It's on by default and makes the alarm behave as described above. Set this option to off and you should be able to set both and not leave the house.
