Question about Proscan Televison & Video

High pitched noise when the T.V. is off. The noise only occurs when the T.V. is off and the red light is on.

Such symptoms caused by damage or problems from the POWER regulator, comes from the transformer noise. usually caused by too high output voltage over 125 Volts. and is caused by other parts in the power regulator has been damaged or weakened, for example. is elco on the part of regulators. like to elco 100uf/50Volt size, 220/50 Volt. you can replace it, here Otocoupler in the regulator.

The problem is with its backlight inverter board. there are some step-up transformeres [small ones] fitted on board. If any one's core bacome loose this fault will occur. Just open the TV and listen to which one makes hi-pitch noise. Replace it, if you can buy it from the electronic market at your town. In most cases, the inverter board needs replacement.
This board can locate on the right or left side of the panel, fitted vertically.

High pitch/humming noise from Frigidaire Refrig.

You have to isolate this problem. It could be one of three things. The compressor, the condenser fan motor or the water valve that feeds the ice maker and wtaer dispenser. Also if the high pitch sound is compared to that of a bird then it is definitely the condenser motor. To isolate the problem take the back cover off. LISTEN FOR THE HIGH PITCHED/HUMMING NOISE! Use a flash light and see if you can tell where it is coming from while it is doing the noise. Dont try this unless you know what your doing. Stop the condenser fan blade with the end of a hard object, but stop it gradually. Dont try this cause you might brake/bend the blade. But if you did and the noise stop then you figured out your problem. If not ythen disconnect the water valve. It has to doulble harness wires attached to it. if problem still exisit then it has to come from the compressor. Unless you have a warranty then theres nothing no one can do except change it. $300-400 job easily.

High pitched noise red light blinking

A high pitch noise comes normally from blown capacitors from the motherboard or the power supply. But mostly high pitch noise comes from power supplies.

You could have to open up the power supply to see them.

Verify if it is the case and replace the faulty part.

The high pitched noise could be because the vacuum is loosing airflow. does the red light come on on the top? if it does ot emptythe vacuum, replace the cone filter, the secondary filter, and the batting in the top of the machine. also hook the hose to the top of the vacuum to make sure there are no clogs in the hose.

I have a very high pitched sound and when I move the tv it will stop for a second or two and then start again. The sound sometimes stops all together. But very high pitch sound.
