We recently bought a 1991 Fleetwood Bounder RV which came with a Dometic RM2604 RM2804 refrigerator/freezer. . It worked perfect one weekend then the next weekend the freezer worked but not the fridge. We were using the electric setting both times. We were at a full hookup campground and we were not using the generator. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Make sure the thermister is attached firmly to the fins in the back. The boards on a Norcold can be reset a service center familiar with this process is your best bet. It takes disconecting the board and then shorting it out best to leave it to some one who is familiar.

If this started in Nevada i presume it was hot there.It sounds like you need a fan installed on the back to increase your air flow across the coils. The fan is much like the one on your computer.

Check the flu at the back is clean

You more than likely need to replace the control cable between the upper and lower board. It comes as a kit with the upper board. You can also do a bypass test by unplugging your thermoster from the circuit board. The thermoster is the temperature control for the refrigerator nothing to do with the freezer.

Tuna, it sounds like your thermistor is bad. Once the fridge reaches 40 degrees, the thermistor is supposed to tell the board to stop cooling and maintain. You can test it with an Ohmmeter.
