Mar 10, 2015 - If you are connecting your cable or satellite box using an HDMI cordyou will ... You just need to change the input of your TV then scan for channels. ... Except the Vizio TV will not receive a channel that all the other TVs get.
U should have a menu button on your tv.If so try to find the channel setup option if you find this you should b able to manually go through your channels to add & delete the channels you want.If not you will have to go out a buy a universal remote.Make sure that it is compatibl to your tv.They should be a list on the back of the remotes pack stating all the brands that the remote is compatible with.I think you should be able to get one for unde 5 dollars.in the pack it should have an instruction manual.some tvs u can set up very easily & some you might have to keep putting in different codes until it works.Hole this could be some help to you.Good luck.
It Depends on the model but most tv's have a manual button on them that allow you to change channels. If that still doesn't work you may need to do a channel search and then change it to channel three. I will need to know the make/model of your TV to help further.
Same problem...Went to Goodwill Store, they usually have a large basket of remotes. I found a Daewoo remote for a TV only, HOWEVER on the bottom it has a AIR/CABLE button. The remote doesn't say Daewoo on it only..."Remote Controller R-25B03". The rest of the button of course work with the TV portion of the DVN-14F6N.
The easiest will be to make sure that the cable box is on and sending out a signal to Channel 3 and auto-programming the set. Channel 3 is skipped because the last time it was auto-programmed, there was no signal on that channel.
Can you get to inputs on your tv ? I would use these inputs rather than channel 3 because you'll get a better picture using the inputs rather than the tuner. They are in the back Yellow for video and red and white for audio. But without the remote you can go into the menu to see if you can manuel program your channels but most of these sets you can't do that . www.replacementremotes.com might have your remote should you need one . Good luck
I personally would get myself a "Universal Remote".
These units will operate almost ANY unit that uses Infrared... Ya Punch a "Code" in for your particular TV etc, and thats it... total conrtol...
