I have a 720-0439 model. Just this year, I can only get 2 of 3 burners to light at one time. If I turn on a third burner, they all go out. I can get each of the burners to stay on individually. Also, I cannot run the searing burner and any of the main burners. Any ideas? Thanks.

When turning the 2nd burner on keep the button depressed.
Press the 3rd burner button down untill it stops.
Hold both in that position!
As you slowly release the 2nd burner button, continue pressure on 3rd button while gently wrigling it back and forth/side to side .
As the 2nd burner button is coming up and you fidget the 3rd they will hit a happy medium. This happens around about the middle of slowly releasing burner 2s button.
Dont use excessive force, also if its just been started up you will have to gove the machine 5 mins to warm up before this works.
If your furnace lights and the gas stays on for 8 to 10 seconds, then shuts
right back off, then you need to clean your flame sensor with light sand paper
or steel wool. You might need a new flame sensor, but most of the time they can
be cleaned an will work well after cleaning.
Your problem lays in one of two area's. Either your regulator needs adjusted or most likely it is your LP tank
Look in the tank fitting for a small brass ring It will have 2 small slots on either side. This ring can back off over time and then will not allow the male fitting to fully depress the valve in the tank thus reducing your gas flow. I have had this happen on several tanks a bit of caution and a small flat bladed screw driver has always fixed the issue
Okay, what you are dealing with is called "vapor-lock". The way these grills need to be turned off is, close the tank valve first and after the burners go out, then turn the burners off. The way you are doing it is trapping the gas and you are getting a weak flame. Fortunately this is an easy fix. First, light the grill by turning the gas valve open, then turn the burners on to light the grill...as soon as that is done, close the gas valve on the tank then turn the burners off. Repeat this procedure until you get a good flame. If this procedure hasn't fixed the problem after the third time, you need a new regulator and regulators are easy to find in any home improvement store like Lowe's or Home Depot.
I can tell you EXACTLY what is wrong. Remove the tank and open all valves to the grill. Reconnect the tank and turn it on just slightly. Relight the grill. Ther is a safety device in the tank that needs to be reset. The only way to do it is removing the tank.
Don't buy GrillPro grills they are junk!!!!!! I have had a GrillPro Model #236464 Stainless Steel Grill and after Three Seasons it has rusted to peices!!!! All Three burners and all Three Flavor Guards and both Channel Cross lites have rusted to a big pile of rust peices. I called GrillPro which is Manufacturered by Onward Manufacturing Company Limited in Canada and all of these pieces have been on back order for over a month and the company says they don't expect the parts anytime soon. Onward Manufactures the following brands:Broil King, Broil-mate, Sterling, Barbecue Genius and GrillPro. I have looked at several of these brands at Menards and they all use the same type of Burners and Flavor Guards that are in my grill so unless you want a big pile of Rust after three years of use I would avoid all of these Brands!!!!!! Forget the problems Take it back where bought and buy something else!! These brands will let you down! Al Gavin - 515-238-3920
