your adapter is not giving sufficient energy to your laptop. it will work fine on battery however will work slow on adapter and can crash other parts of your laptop

need to change the LCD screen or the backlite or the invertor board behind the screen
check with a tech shop...

try to defragment ur laptop hard disk from windows defragmenter

this migt solve ur problem

Not entirely sure about the speed of typing issue but if you're using a lower speed PC the more secure sites may simply present too much of a load to run smoothly, If you provide your specs I can likely be a little more help. As for the scroll sign, that is the sign that pops up whenever you touch the right portion of your mousepad, it works like the wheel in the middle of a regular mouse.

If you're resting your hands on the mouse pad or next to it you're likely activating the scroll without realizing it.

The problem that you are facing is not uncommon.I faced a similar one too. It can be because of various reasons:-
1) There are too many items running in your system background that are consuming unnecessary RAM of your desktop\laptop!! Try closing them down or removing unnecessary items from your Start-up menu.
2)U did not state how much ram u have.....but your OS has to have some free too to function normally.(do u have a Vista?).
3)U can also defragment your hard drive and memory.Over time clusters get accumulated that can slow down the performance of your machine.
4)I hope u hv a latest antivirus as trojans and spyware can also slow your machine.
5)And then there is always the option of formatting your machine's root drive i.e. the drive in which you have installed your OS!!

uninstall any energy management software provided by dell and then check.if the issue is not resolved then the issue is with the converter board as it is heating up.

FIRST REPLACE YOUR BATTERY, THEN ALSO CHECK VIRUS WITH AN UPDATED VIRUS CLEANER.

it's look like your windows is corrupt.
I suggest you to go to safe mode, safe/backup your data and then reload the operating system.

be sure that the ram is in tight, if it is try new ram
