Driver installation on vista

There is no such thing as driver software, there is a driver for hardware and there is software for the devise.

If you install a memory card sd card that is not over 1gig and you plug the phone into a computer with vista on it, it should see the memory card as a drive,like your hard drive

The reason you would need a driver is to run software called
Motorola Phone Tools v5, this software allows phone tools to see
the phone and talk to it, which you can then move pic's and music
from and to your sd card in the phone. The driver comes with the software disk, so when you install moto phone tools, it will install
a modem driver so it can connect to the phone.

You have to buy moto phone tools,you can find it for free,but I can't tell you where. I have moto phone tools installed on,,
XP, Vista, Windows 7.

Most of the generic phone software does not work like moto phone tools. If you do not want to buy the software, just get a sd card reader, so you can plug the sd card into your computer, and copy what you want from the folders, or put want you want inside the folders, music to the music folder,and so on.
