Use a good thermometer, if possible a probe type to check heat after oven is turned on , Now at different timing take the test while switching off oven or heating till the set levels of temperature can be marked and calibrated on the panel with the marking in place.
You can start by calibrating from 90 degrees and in steps of 30 degrees making sure it is marked with the set levels.
Thus it can be calibrated to work.

Coffee machine gage that doesent move

If the model is KES100 and coffee and steam are both at normal temperature then the problem is one of the following
1) The needle has come loose on the shaft. Solution; turn machine on and press needle back onto shaft in the usual position for full heat when the machine is on full heat.
2) The gas/liquid has escaped from the copper tubing to the gauge. Solution; fit a new gauge assembly.

Setting the gage for fagor pressure cooker

The Fagor electric pressure cooker does not have a gauge that needs to be set. Instead, it has a handle that has to be turned to point to "PRESSURE" before the electric cooker can start cooking.

Then, you either press "high" or "low" pressure button on the control panel.

You can find detailed instructions in the manual, here:

How to refill gas in home spli a/c, advise presure details as wel

Charging AC by superheat and subcool
First charging a unit by superheat, this is only for Acs with an orifice or capillary tube.
Optimum superheat is 12° to 15° at the compressor or suction line outside the unit.
Hook up your gages and put a thermometer on suction line (large line), start the AC. Measure the temperature of the suction line and read the pressure on your gages. Theres a temperature scale on your gages for R-22 or R-410A the needle will show you the pressure on the outer scale and if you follow it down to the R-22 or R-410a inner scale that is the saturation temperature for that refrigerant, (you can also use a temperature pressure chart), now read the thermometer, let’s say the suction temperature( the thermometer) is 67° and the saturation temperature (the gages or temp. press. Chart), is 55°, subtract the saturation temperature from the suction temperature, 67°- 55° = 12° superheat.
Charging by Subcooling, this is for Acs with a thermostatic expansion valve, it’s common to see a sight glass on the liquid line (on these units with a sight glass just clear it, when, indoor room is at approximate set point of the thermostat). Optimum sub cooling is 12° to 15° at the outdoor unit.
Hook up your gages and put a thermometer on liquid line (small line), start the AC. Measure the temperature of the liquid line and read the pressure on your gages. Theres a temperature scale on your gages for R-22 or R-410A the needle will show you the pressure on the outer scale and if you follow it down to the R-22 or R-410a inner scale that is the saturation temperature for that refrigerant,(you can also use a temperature pressure chart), now read the thermometer, let’s say the liquid temperature( the thermometer) is 100° and the saturation temperature (the gages or temp. press. Chart), is 114°, subtract the liquid temperature from the saturation temperature, 114°- 100° = 14° subcool.

Need a replacement glass lid for a west bend slow cooker model 84356. Not available on the WEst Bend appliance website. Any ideas?

I will give you mine if you want to pay for shipping. I have to order a new crock because mine cracked. Since they redesigned the crock, I have to buy the new lid that goes with it. Let me know if you want it and we can work out the details.

Top oven thermostat Stoves 800DF - fitting?

Hi, we have had one of these ovens for 8 years (it was in the house we moved into). We had a new control fitted for the top oven (it took the repair company three tries to get the right part) and the problem didn't go away. To be honest, we can't stand this oven but are waiting until we replace the entire kitchen to replace it. The bottom oven is fine. The top oven is fierce and burns food all the time. Overall it's a ridiculous oven - I'd much prefer a sensibly-sized one that actually worked well! Rant over.

Looking for Ultrex II Electric Pressure Cooker Cord

Any generic appliance cord should work. You can try Home Depot or Lowes they have some cords. Just make sure you get the same gage and approximate length cord. You can also buy cords on line from appliance supply websites. Good luck. If you have any more questions please ask. Please rate me so I know if I helped. Thanks.
