I can't turn up the volume and i don't have the owners manual

The clickwheel controls the volume - you have to run your finger counter-clockwise while a song is playing.

That should of come with an owners manual go to www.ipod.com
or www.apple.com
if these don't work just Google your Ipod type with the word manual and you will find an owners manual to download free - it is complex and you will need one - Good Luck
