Ps3 going blank

I can't put in my password I can't get online or go into my account I need the new code for my playstaion 3

Try resetting the output signal to standard definition by holding the power button down for 5 seconds.

See if this works. Turn the system off till just the red standby light is on. Then hold the power button till it beeps twice and shuts down. Then turn back on like regular.

i would suggest going with www.wiredextreme.com they are pretty cheap compared to other places ive seen. PS3 lasers and diodes can be costly..

before you sell or send it in either try formatting the hdd to fix any bad sectors in your system, and get yourself a can of CO2 pc internal spray that stuff is high powered and used to clean inside systems so it will take all the dust away from the fan to stop it from clogging up

here is one of the best answers that I ran across in the past about said issue.

this is what i would do :
First of all, try playing all of your games and see if its just one disk or ur ps3, following that i would say u put in a blu-ray movie and check if that works, if it doesn't, then u are in serious trouble ( not really!). Get a USB Memory Stick( u know one of those little things u plug in a computer and can save all of ur stuff in) save ur important stuff. and then after that reset ur system settings, u can do that by:
Settings> System Settings> Restore System Settings
after that try it and if it doesnt work, go again to system settings but this time around, go to restore ps3 system, u can do that by:
Settings> Sysem Settings> Restore PS3 System.
it should be noted that all of ur stuff will be deleted, so i hope u saved all of ur game saves on that usb flash stcik thing.
if it doesnt work then do the following:

Monday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST
Sunday 7:00 - AM 6:30 PM PST
and tell them about ur problem, they will tell u to restore system settings or restore ps3 system, and thats what i told u, if it doesnt work, they will ask for ur adresss ( i hope u live in North America) and will ask u ur email, phone number and all that. After that they will send u a box( takes around 4-5 business days for the box to get to ur house, but it really matters where u live) and u put ur ps3 in that box, send it back, and then they will fix it, if they cant they will either send u a refurbished ps3 which is someone elses ps3 but dont worry its as good as brand new or if not, they will send u a new ps3. which will take sbout 4-5 business days, and again depends on where u live!

PS3 is one of the most amazing gaming device but like other competitor gaming devices (Xbox and Wii) It also has some problems like No Display Problme. You may check out the informative blog post at PS3 Repairs blog

I was talking to a courier driver the other day and he says that he has picked up no end of PS3s with errors

THAT MEANS YOU HAVE A CORRUPTED FILE DO YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THAT????

ask them what to do and their price on it!
There is a fix but it normally requires you to take the seal off and if you dont want to attempt that then you can send it back or sell it to me ;) I do buy broken ps3's.
